After having horrible experience with an online order, with the order being shipped to an incorrect address (not even close), I went to a local store near Houston to find only 1 of the throw pillows I had ordered (on 1/7). They were able to locate a 2nd one at this store. The nice man on the phone took my credit card info and charged me for the pillow and said that it would be shipped on Monday (1/9) and I should receive on Friday. Well, I received the UPS notification on 1/12 that a shipping label had been created and today (1/16) that is all that has happened. I called the store and could only be told that the package had not been picked up and today was a holiday (MLK day) so UPS doesn't operate. WRONG! I told her that was USPS, and that UPS does operate and delivered other packages to me today. Then this manager told me they had been in inventory, so "maybe that's why it didn't go out - nothing could go in or out during inventory." So the CUSTOMER SERVICE FAILURE has turned into something worse. No more Stein Mart for this unhappy customer!
