  I've gotten work done at several places here in austin, and no one else has risen and surpassed my expectations of a tattoo shop. Super friendly people, they were able to customize a design that I wanted and most importantly AMAZING WORK! Pineapple was super nice even though he looks intimidating, but he's a big teddy bear!

  Just finished up half of a large tattoo(10 hours so far) which I have been wanting for a long time . I came to Justin Vickers with a very basic idea, and the result was better than i ever could have imagined. Justin was more than willing to work with my ideas(completely redid a large sketch and relocated the tattoo from back to ribcage) and schedule and this made the overall experience really cool. Justin is an extremely talented artist and a pleasure to work with. The shop itself is very clean and well organized. In all, probably the best experience i could have hoped for.

  I found ShaMod on Yelp, while searching for the best septum piercing shops. I was skeptical of all the great reviews, so I decided to check out the actual website and read the 'about' page of this so called Pineapple. I left even more impressed than when I arrived at the website! For everything said here was not only true, but more interesting facts were left out! The shop was both clean & inviting. Professional atmosphere, while still having that home-village like feel. I was comfortable, in that again, all that I had read was indeed true. I arrived somewhat calm but a bit anxious for the septum piercing yesterday, but I knew I was in good hands. Which allowed for me to calm myself, before the piercing. There is nothing worse then being anxious while second guessing the chosen shop & piercer! Pineapple explained each process from sterilization (he even sterilized the gloves) to the actually piercing. I should note, septum piercing is unlike other piercings. In that, symmetry is quite the challenge & also of the up most importance for such placement of a piercing. In fact, this step was the most time consuming. Pineapple was very patient and diligent in making sure that my septum piercing was perfect! Dancehall played as Pineapple announced & performed each piercing step. Bam, it was done. The actually piercing, needle going through skin, was quite short & quick. Just as I started to feel 'pain' the retainer was in place & I was sitting upright. Clear aftercare instructions were provided & explained thoroughly. I will visit again for any piercing in the future & would highly recommend ShaMod to family, friends, and all who ask for the best piercing place in ATX!
