  The sales associates are not knowledgeable with the returns and exchange process. I had ordered 2 pair of pants online during the tax free weekend in a loft store, but once I received them in the mail they didn't fit correctly. I went to this store location today to do an even exchange for the same 2 pants in a different size. However the store associate did not do an even exchange, instead she returned each pair of pants individually. I attempted to stop the return and made the associate aware that it was an even exchange (same style, color, and price). She then proceeded to state that it was a longer process to do an exchange, and finished up the return. When my order was finally rung up the total was more than the original purchase. I made the sales associate along with the manager aware that I shouldn't pay more since its an even exchange. The manager and associate then preceded to state that they can't honor the tax free price even though it was the same pants in a different size. This store needs to follow the policy of Ann Taylor Loft of honoring the prices of online purchases. I've contacted corporate based on what I experienced today, and corporate stated that the store didn't follow the policy of Ann Taylor Loft. Corporate was able to handle the issue, however I wish this store would just follow the policy from the very beginning.
