Reviews about DXL

Always very pleased with my experience here. This store is 40 mins away from my home, but it's totally worth it. I've been to the Casual Male XL stores and while they are cheaper, they just don't compare to the quality and customer service you'll receive at a DXL. Often times shorts are actually cheaper at DXL and far better quality than at Casual Male XL. Today I walked in with a Coat & shoes (previously purchased at DXL) and told them I need to make this into the suit. The lady right away came up with shirts & tie combinations for me to choose from and pants to match. Within an hour I had tried on everything to make sure it fit and the seamstress hemmed my pants before I left. Excellent service if you ask me! Make sure to sign up for their rewards program as they often send you tiered coupons. I was able to use a $50 off coupon today. That's like a free pair of shorts!

Great customer service. Pretty good selection. They have a tailor on site. In addition, they offer good advice on putting outfits together, which is great for guys like me who don't really know how. Prices are steep, but that is to be expected. If you are a big/tall guy and walk into one of these stores expecting Walmart prices, you are an idiot. The stuff they sell is quality, and the prices are similar to what you will find online, but what you don't get online is a person helping you or the "in store experience" that some of us still prefer. I wish they had a larger selection of solid color ties. As a company and not the local store, I do not like their rewards program. It's pretty cheesy that they automatically send you a card in the mail at 300 points and there are no options to "save up". In addition, they expire like regular coupons, so it's a double kick in the balls at the register. Oh, and there's no way to recover the rewards points after they mail out the card. It's really nice finding that out considering how easy it is to run up a $500-$1000 tab here.
